What was the highlight of The Soco Hotel

Good

The food was all good, and it was right on the beach.

It was smaller than I'd expected it to be - a dozen rooms - and the hot end of the air conditioners was on our path to reception. But what they really did wrong was that half way through my morning shower, just when I was covered in soap, the hot water ran out. Even in Barbados I don't want to shower in unheated water :(

«Relax di fronte al mare con spiaggia semi-privata»

La posizione di fronte al Mare

La posizione direttamente sulla strada principale e la pochissima insonorizzazione delle stanze, creavano una sveglia automatica intorno alle 6 di mattina "offerta" dai taxi locali che suonavana all'impazzata con i clacson (musichette quali "la cucaracia ..."; inoltre il ristorante offriva pochissima scelta e di qualità mediocre (non certo cucina internazionale): unica preoccupazione dello staff era quello di offrire ai clienti cocktail piú o meno colorati da sciroppi industriali (non siamo mai riusci a bere una bevanda con frutta vera!!) A parte questo, per una vancanza all'insegna del relax e con poche pretese, é il posto ideale.

Could have stayed longer

The staff were delightful, the location amazing and a very calm relaxing atmosphere in the hotel. Food was to cooked to order, a nice change.

The bathroom needs refreshing, grouting a bit grubby. Mentioned it to reception on check out.

Sun, Fun, Rum and Relaxation

The HOSPITALITY from all the staff from the time we checked in to check out. When i left felt like I was saying bye to family. What I really loved about our stay at The Soco Hotel was the induction on the morning after your check in Michelle was BRILLIANT she gave us all we needed to know about the island. COMPLIMENTS to the chefs from breakfast, lunch and dinner I looked forward to meal times. The high light of my trip was the cocktails name it and and it will be made I had every single one of them even the bar tenders special. They also host a Cocktail night where you can meet the owner and give feed back which is always great! Will be returning

It was not the expected all inclusive experience. Meals were at a defined time, and the restautant closed at 9:30pm and the bar at 10:00pm. The menu was also not very varied.

Very good location.

Very good location. Meals were generally good taste and well served. Large room and stunning ocean view from balcony.

For staff so men were nicer and more efficient than women. Troubles in our room upon arrival at noon (booking not advised them they said, air conditioning out of service, no water in toilets, noisy closer to lobby, road and parking, 3 hours waiting for room) but hopefully after requesting several times so we finally got a better room around 09:00PM. All inclusive.

Warmest welcome, fantastic all-inclusive package, and the most stunning views

Wonderfully friendly, helpful and skilled staff; beautifully appointed pool, bar and restaurant area; fresh and varied menus as part of the all-inclusive package (not a buffet in sight); and stunning views. This hotel lived up to the description and then some - really can’t overstate how much we enjoyed our stay here. If you want a smaller boutique alternative to the big resorts, with the same (or better!) quality service, fresh food, refreshing drinks, stunning coastal views and ambience in a modern, well-appointed hotel with the most helpful and friendly hotel staff you could hope for, then this is the place for you.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Soco hotel. The location is great and the hotel is very intimate.

I liked the choice of some traditional meals on the menu. The staff were helpful and nice.

the menu lasted 2 days before a change. The bar was meant to close at 23.00 but everything was locked up by 22.45. No prosecco served and no premium spirits

Отель расположен на первой береговой линии, со своим пляжем и удобным заходом в воду. Номер на первом этаже, с прямым выходом к бассейну. Хороший интернет.

Отель достаточно старый. Ожидали более приятной атмосферы, с точки зрения чистоты номера, мебели и прочих удобств. Проживали в отеле несколько суток, уборки номера, к сожалению, не дождались. Отель не совсем оправдал наши ожидания, после просмотра фотографии на букинге.

What was the highlight of The Soco Hotel

Enjoy your stay in beautiful Barbados! You will want to come back.

Breakfast by the beach was one of my favourite things to do. The property is in a nice location with a nice beach out front. The staff are very friendly.

The only issue I found was with the bar. The food is great in the hotel but the drinks are not good. There is a nice bar area by the pool with which the hotel could do so much more. The doors facing the street could use better soundproofing as there is a lot of noise emanating from the street. Aside from that however I would definitely return to this hotel as it is a very nice place to stay and the staff at the hotel are both friendly and attentive.

Fantastic place would definitely recommend and I would go back

Staff lovely.. location great... room spacious and well appointed... view to die for!

On arrival no one on reception to welcome us... waited 10 minutes... but that was the only thing
